Terms of Use of the Service

Version: 8 October 2026

  1. Hermes is a software service for car rental businesses to manage their fleet, bookings, contracts and finances. The person who opens an account declares that they act for a business that runs, or is preparing to run, a car rental activity, and that the details they give (company name, e-mail, phone) are correct.
  2. The service may not be used to build a competing product, to copy or reverse engineer Hermes' workings, screens or content, to resell or rent the service to third parties, to open accounts in bulk with automated tools, or for any purpose that harms the security or operation of the service.
  3. Each business may open only one free (Free) account. Only one company can be registered per phone number; sign-ups with temporary e-mail addresses are not accepted.
  4. Plans come with limits (vehicles, branches, locations, users, API keys) and features. Once a limit is reached, the plan must be upgraded or an add-on bought to add more. When a plan is downgraded or expires, no data is deleted; records beyond the plan's limits can only be viewed.
  5. Hermes may suspend or close an account without prior notice when it finds, or reasonably suspects, use against these terms. Free accounts left unused for a long time may be archived.
  6. Some features, such as taking card payments and being listed on Otorento, require the business to be approved separately by Hermes and Otorento and to complete their certification.
  7. Hermes may update these terms. The current version is published on this page; significant changes are e-mailed to the account's administrator.
